How to Discover What Sets Your Brand Apart

For creative entrepreneurs, an important part of having confidence and clarity in your branding is understanding what sets you apart. This might seem simple, or like a hard question to answer (and that’s okay!).

It’s so easy to get distracted by comparison and believe the lie that we’re not good enough, or that what we have to offer isn’t that special. 

The 3 prompts I’m sharing below are meant to help you ditch that lie and start having the confidence to show up as the talented business owner as you are. 

Wondering what sets your brand apart? Ask yourself these 3 questions:

1. What are you naturally gifted at doing? (Think more about life in general, we’ll make note of your business strengths in the next question. Don’t be too hard on yourself, here!)
2. What would you say are your 3 biggest strengths as a business owner?
3. If you could be known among your clients/customers and colleagues for 3-5 specific skills, values or talents, what would they be?

I hope that this exercise has inspired you to start showing up more confidently. There’s a place for you and your business in this world! You have your own unique set of gifts, and that makes you irreplaceable.
