Canva makes it easy to create Pinterest graphic layouts for your business. In this tutorial, I’ll show you just how quickly you can create & customize your own pin graphics – all from scratch!
We’ll be making 3 different pin layouts:
A background image with text on top
An image with a color block & text underneath
A solid background with text on top

To get started, go to canva.com and log in or create your free account.
I like to use the dimensions 1000 px X 1500 px – I’ve found that my Pinterest graphics are higher quality when I do this. The ideal pin size (for regular pins) used to be 600 px X 900 px. But, it’s now acceptable to use a larger size – as long as you stick to the 2:3 ratio.
Stay true to your brand with the colors, fonts, and photos you choose.
Shortcut for “Copy” – Cmnd + C (Mac) / Ctrl + C (Windows)
Shortcut for “Paste” – Cmnd + V (Mac) / Ctrl + V (Windows)

Pinterest considers each unique pin graphic “fresh content.” So, you can use different layouts (like the 3 we created in this tutorial) to make multiple pins from the same blog post. Once you do, pin each unique graphic to a different board!
