Showit Template Customization for Podcast Agency – Hello Podcast Media

Podcasting is powerful, and Hello Podcast Media has noticed! Founded by Brittany Rincon, this agency is on a mission to amplify the voices of women entrepreneurs by simplifying podcasting for them. Brittany reached out to me for help creating branding and a website that would showcase HPM’s offerings well. This project was so much fun, I love how Brittany’s brand and website turned out, and I’m sure her audience will, too!

Brand Design for Hello Podcast Media

As I’ll explain in just a bit, we decided to go the website template customization route for Brittany’s project. Her package also included mini branding – a custom color palette, font palette, and primary logo. She wanted her brand to have cozy coffee shop vibes, be minimal, and appeal to millennial women. Warm, rich earthtones and a clean, but slightly hipster main font helped us accomplish this.

The final Hello Podcast Media logo consists of the wordmark that’s fun and minimal, plus a mic logomark. The mic really brings home what HPM is all about in a fresh way. These two marks can be used together, or stand alone.

HOW TEMPLATE CUSTOMIZATION WORKS

I design websites using the Showit website builder. I love using the Showit because it allows for creative freedom, and is easy for my clients to edit moving forward!

Showit templates are a great option for newer business owners with smaller budgets, or anyone who wants to launch a website quickly! Even if you have a larger budget, I usually recommend not spending thousands on your first-ever website for your business, because things will change so much in those first few years. So I think it’s wise that Brittany went the template route!

Showit is easy to learn, so some people choose to purchase a template and customize it themselves. However, having a designer customize the template for you is convenient and having a designer’s eye on the site is valuable, so that’s why my template customization services exist!

Brittany and I chose the Gabby Showit Template together from fellow designer Elizabeth McCravy’s template shop (with the Gabby Podcast Kit add-on). We loved the layout of the main template, and the media kit and podcast page from the add-on! It was perfect for Brittany’s needs. Once I used Brittany’s new branding and content to customize the template, we came up with a website that’s just as unique as Hello Podcast Media!
